Who are we?

Expression UG is a creative arts movement whose major goal is to discover, organize, nurture and break through the budding artist in the Ugandan arts industry through different holistic outreach programmes targeting artists from ages 12 and above.

Expression UG was founded in 2012 at Uganda Christian University, Mukono as Cypher Session UG and now a country wide Community body managed by a team of 10 youthful creative artists.

Our vision is Empowered Creative artists of Africa living in a community filled with opportunities for self-advancement by the year 2025

Expression UG holds the following values Creativity, Learning, Probity, Growth, Invention, Innovation, Freedom, Respect and Equity.

 

Vision:

Mission:

To enhance the performance of artists and all the other stake holders like law enforcers and partnering organizations in building Africa’s art industry’s potential to better the social economic affairs that affect the ordinary people of Africa.

Goal:

Our major goal is to explore ways oh how to reward those creative artists that constantly seek to add value to themselves through their creative works by maximizing the prospects of working together as a community.

Management:

Expression UG has versatile team of 10 creative artists (Gender Sensitive) dedicated to the vision of seeing the arts contribute positive change to Africa. The programmes under the arts campaign will be managed and accomplished by this team splitting each member to partake the various managerial roles towards its success.
